George Kunda

George Kunda ( born February 26, 1956 in Luanshya, † April 16, 2012 in Lusaka ) was a Zambian politician.

Career

George Kunda studied and made his law degree at the Faculty of Law ( Law School ) of the University of Zambia. In the election in Zambia in 2006, he won the mandate Much Inga southeast of Serenje in the National Assembly for the Movement for Multi Party Democracy.

Kunda was Attorney General and Minister of Justice since 2001. He was chairman of the Law Association of Zambia. During Kaunda 's dictatorship, he has made as an activist for human rights a name. From 2008 to 2011 he served as Vice President of his country.

George Kunda was married to Irene Mwezi Kunda. Both were lawyers in Lusaka.
