Giro dell'Emilia

The Giro dell'Emilia is an Italian bicycle race.

The Giro dell'Emilia is a one-day race that counts since 2005 to the UCI Europe Tour and is classified in the highest category 1.HC. The race was held in 1909 for the first time and takes place in October since almost every year. The course is located around the city of Bologna in the Emilia-Romagna region. Record winner was the Italian Costante Girardengo who could win the Giro dell'Emilia five times. As the only German Jan Ullrich previously decided the race in 2001 for themselves.
