Gold Coast, Queensland

Gold Coast is a city on the southeast coast of Queensland in Australia, about 70 km south of Brisbane. It has evolved over the last 50 years from a loose collection of smaller communities to the second largest city in Queensland with nearly 600,000 inhabitants ( 2012). It is Australia's sixth largest city and Australia's largest tourist area.
