Górki, Opole Voivodeship
Gorek (Polish Gorki ) is a village in Upper Silesia. Gorek belongs to the municipality Proskau ( Prószków ) in Opolski powiat (district Opole ) in the Opole Voivodeship.

Gorek is located six kilometers north of the parish seat Proskau and six kilometers south of the county town of Opole voivodship and ( Opole ).

History
1306 Gorek was mentioned in a document from the Duke Bolesław of Opole for the first time. In 1534, seven people here managed eight fields. 1864, there were 331 people. From 1936-1945 was the village Kleinberg. Today live in Gorek 680 people.
Attractions
In the village there are ancient chapels and crosses from the 18th century.
- Chapel at the crossroads: In the chapel is a wooden figure of Jesus and the Virgin Mary. The bell was cast in 1658 in Nysa.
