Griesheim is, since April 1, 1928, a western suburb of Frankfurt am Main, north of the Main.

Geography and infrastructure

Griesheim is bordered to the west by Nied, on the north by Sossenheim, Roedelheim and Bock home, on the east by Gallus and the Gutleutviertel and in the south, separated by the Main, at Swan House and Niederrad.
