Gro Hammerseng

Gro hammer Seng Edin ( born April 10, 1980 in Gjøvik, born Gro hammer Seng ) is a Norwegian handball player. She plays in the backcourt, where it is used primarily on the position back center of the room. She was elected to the world handball player of the year 2007.

In the club

Hammer Seng Edin began at the age of ten years, the handball matches in Gjøvik. Initially they played at Gjøvik HK, Raufoss IL and Vardal IF. Private

Gro has two brothers, Lars and Morten. Lars plays for Lillehammer Ice Hockey Club and Morten is the lead singer of the band baby lotion. She also has a younger sister. Gro lived until 2010 open with their Norwegian teammate Katja Nyberg in a relationship. Since October 2010, Anja Hammer Seng Edin is her new companion. Her pregnancy was announced in August 2011. In February 2012, she brought forth a son. In August 2013 the couple married.

The end of 2012 gave it known that she will write with her partner Anja Edin a book.
