Guly do Prado

Guilherme Raymundo do Prado ( born December 31, 1981 in Campinas ) is a Brazilian footballer who plays for Southampton FC in the midfield.

Playing career

Do Prado began his career with the 2001/ 02 season, the Brazilian second division Associação Portuguesa de Desportos. He then moved across the Atlantic to Italy, where he first played in the 2002/03 season for Catania Calcio before joining for two seasons at Perugia Calcio. From the season 2005/ 06 he was in the squad of Fiorentina. During the winter break of the 2006/07 season was to Spezia Calcio Do Prado, borrowed from the 2007/ 08 season to the AC Mantova. In the summer of 2008, the midfielder of Pro Patria Calcio has been committed to the following year he signed for AC Cesena. After the 2009/10 season with the club he managed the climb in the Series A.

In August 2010, he moved on loan to the English third division side FC Southampton. After his impressive performances, the club signed him in January 2011 on a firm contractual basis. At the end of the season 2010/11 do Prado reached with his new team promotion to the Football League Championship.
