Guri

Guri ( Kor. 구리시 ) is a city in the South Korean province of Gyeonggi -do. It is located east of the Korean capital, Seoul, to which it is connected by the Seoul Subway.

In the town are the Donggureung Royal Tombs of the Joseon Dynasty, which were proposed in 2006 by the South Korean government for inclusion in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Guri received its current administrative form in 1986 when it was separated from the city Namyangju. Until 1980, Guri was part of the city Yangju.

Sports

For the first time Guri 2013 the venue for the three-band World Cup will be in September. Since 2008, he was held in Suwon.
