Gymnastics at the 2012 Summer Olympics – Men's artistic individual all-around

The individual all-around final of the artistic gymnastics apparatus of the men at the 2012 Olympics in London was held on 1 August 2012 at The O ₂. Total came to 24 Turner.

In the qualifying competition on 28 July 2012, 24 Turner had qualified for the final. The regulations stipulated, however, that only two gymnasts per NOC were allowed to compete in the finals. A third qualifier was not allowed to compete and was replaced by a Turner, who had cut off as the next best.

Each Turner approached on all devices, the points scored were added, the points, which achieved the gymnast in the qualification, were not counted.

  • Kazuhito Tanaka (JPN ) at No. 22 - Replacement: Jimmy Verbaeys ( BEL).
  • Tanaka replaced his injured compatriot Koji Yamamuro ( 18th place)

Final result

Uchimura was responsible for the overall fifth Olympic title of a Japanese gymnast in this discipline. Nguyen created the first all-around medal for Germany since the Second World War.
