Gymnastics at the 2012 Summer Olympics – Men's floor

The final of the men's floor exercise at the 2012 Olympic Games in London was held on 5 August 2012 at The O ₂. A total of eight competed Turner.

In the qualifying competition on 28 July 2012, eight Turner had qualified for the final. The regulations stipulated that only two gymnasts per NOC could compete in the final. A third qualifier was not allowed to compete and was replaced by a Turner, who had cut off as the next best.

The rating of an exercise consisted of difficulty (D -score) and the execution (E -score), which were added to the total score and subtracted from the possible penalty points. If two gymnasts have the same total score, the higher rating is the execution of the rash.

Final result

Olympic champion Zou Kai (CHN ) is next to Nikolai Andrianov from the former USSR, the only gymnast who can defend his Olympic title in the floor exercise. Tomás González is the first Chilean gymnast who participates in the Olympic Games and thus the first Chilean finalists.
