Gymnastics at the 2012 Summer Olympics – Men's horizontal bar

The finale on the horizontal bar of the men at the 2012 Olympics in London was held on 7 August 2012 at The O ₂. A total of eight competed Turner.

In the qualifying competition on 28 July 2012, eight Turner had qualified for the final. The regulations stipulated that only two gymnasts per NOC could compete in the final. A third qualifier was not allowed to compete and was replaced by a Turner, who had cut off as the next best.

The rating of an exercise consisted of difficulty (D -score) and the execution (E -score), which were added to the total score and subtracted from the possible penalty points. If two gymnasts have the same total score, the higher rating is the execution of the rash.

Final result

Epke Zonderland erturnte the first Dutch medal on the horizontal bar. At the same time it was the first Olympic gold medal for a male gymnast from the country.
