Hambleton

Hambleton is a District in the county of North Yorkshire in England. Administrative center is the city of Northallerton. Other important towns are Bedale, Easingwold, Great Ayton, Stokesley and Thirsk.

The district was formed on 1 April 1974 and evolved from the merger of the Urban District Northallerton, the Rural Districts Bedale, Easingwold and Northallerton and parts of the Rural District and Croft Thirsk.
