Have You Ever? is a ballad songwriter Diane Warren who wrote the for the Contemporary R & B singer Brandy. The song was released in late 1998 and early 1999. The ballad reached number one on the New Zealand and the U.S. single charts.

Background

Production was orchestrated by David Foster. For the singer from the black music scene working with the pop producer was a new experience. In an interview in 2005, Brandy spoke to the studio recording of the song as follows:

" That was the first time I had been in the studio with a producer like David Foster, [ ... ] My voice was not as developed as it is now and the song required what producers call ' money notes' - the child did get you a no. 1 on the charts! I was really nervous but it all worked just fine "

Music Video
