Hope for Haiti Now (album)

Hope for Haiti Now is a live album by various artists who participated Benfiz campaign at the Hope for Haiti Now. This helped the victims of the earthquake in Haiti in 2010. All sales of the album and the songs go to the Haiti relief organizations, including the International Red Cross and Red Crescent and Wyclef Jean's Yele Haiti Foundation. Hope for Haiti Now has 19 live performances from the telethon Hope for Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief, and the studio version of " Stranded (Haiti Mon Amour )" by Jay -Z, Bono, The Edge and Rihanna.

The album could pre-order on iTunes already on 22 January 2010 before the telethon. It set a record as the most pre-ordered album in a day in the iTunes history. The album sold 171,000 copies in the first week and the first digital album, which reached number one on the Billboard 200 album chart in two days.

Hope for Haiti Now debuted on the Billboard 200 at No. 1 with 171,000 copies sold in the first two days alone. In addition, the album reached No. 1 on the charts in Austria, Canada and France.
