Hossein Tavakkoli
Hossein Tavakoli ( born January 10, 1978 in Mahmoudabad; Persian حسین توکلی ) is an Iranian weightlifter in the heavyweight division and participants at the Summer Olympics in Sydney in 2000.
He won at the Olympic Summer Games 2000 in Sydney in the weight class 105 kg gold medal. In the Asia Cup in 1999, held in Wuhan, Tavakoli joined in the weight category of 105 kg and won the gold medal. Other important achievements Tavakolis are winning the silver medal at the Asian Championship 2004 in Almaty and the bronze medal at the Asian Games 2006 in Doha.
