Hroznatín

Hroznatín ( German Hrosnatin, also Hrozniatin ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located ten kilometers north of Třebíč and belongs to Okres Třebíč.

Geography

Hroznatín is located on a knoll on the left side above the valley of the river Oslavička in Krischanauer Bergland ( Křižanovská Highlands ) in the south of the Bohemian- Moravian Highlands. To the north of the hill rises Babí hora (606 m).

Neighboring towns are Batouchovice in the north, Nový Telečkov in the northeast, and Vlčatín Rudíkov in the east, Přeckov in the south, Horni Vilémovice and Benetice in the west and Svatoslav in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of the village was carried out in 1365 by Jan von Meziříč as a dowry for his wife Anna von Sternberg. George of Krawarn on Meziříč overwrote Hroznatín 1447 Mikuláš of Nárameč. Subsequent owner was from 1453 Ondřej nepr of Oslavice on Pozďatín. 1497 acquired Zikmund Valecký of Mírov the village of Mikuláš nepr.

In 1790 Hroznatín consisted of 22 houses and 136 inhabitants had. After the abolition of patrimonial Hroznětín formed in 1850 a district of the municipality in the district Rudíkov Velké Meziříčí. 1887 was the village of their own political community, which was named Hroznatín. In 1890 the village had 170 inhabitants and 1900 there were 167 With the beginning of 1961 Hroznatín was incorporated into Rudíkov and assigned to the Okres Třebíč. Since 1991, the community is again.
