Hurricane Nora (1997)

Although the center of rotation of Nora from the southwestern mainland Mexico held far distance, up to 6 m high waves were reported, who met on the coast and dozens of homes destroyed. Nora's winds caused rough seas and high waves, which caused significant beach erosion, especially in the area around Acapulco, where the beach was washed away in Pie de la Cuesta.
