IF Elfsborg

Idrottsföreningen Elfsborg, mostly short IF Elfsborg, is a sports club based in the Swedish city of Borås. The club is best known for its football team, which plays in the highest Swedish football league, Allsvenskan.

Early years

The club was founded on 26 June 1904 by 19 young men as Boras Fotbollslag.
