Invicti Athletae

The encyclical Invicti athletae Christi ( Latin: The Invincible competitor for Jesus Christ) to mark the 300th anniversary of the death of Saint Andrew Bobola was on 16 May 1957 by Pope Pius XII. published.

With this Apostolic circulars praised Pius XII. the life and martyrdom of this Polish saint who on July 5, 1853 by Pope Pius IX. beatified and on 17 April 1938, Pope Pius XI. was canonized.
