Irchenrieth

Irchenrieth is a municipality in the Upper Palatinate district of Neustadt adWaldnaab and a member of the administrative community Schirmitz.

Irchenrieth lies in the planning region Oberpfalz -Nord.

There is only the district Irchenrieth.

History

Irchenrieth belonged to Landgraviate Leuchtenberg (or later to the court Leuchtenberg ) of the Electorate of Bavaria. The Landgraviate Leuchtenberg was 1712/14 fell finally to Bavaria. In the course of administrative reform in Bavaria, was born with the congregation of 1818, the current community. On 1 January 1978, until then independent municipality Bechtsrieth was incorporated. Since 1 January 1994 Bechtsrieth forms with Trebsau following a popular get back to their community.

It was in 1998 according to official statistics in industry and in trade and transport, no social insurance contributions at the workplace. In other areas, were employed to social security at the workplace 249 people. Social insurance contributions at residence, there were a total of 412 in the manufacturing sector, there was an operation in the construction of three plants. In 1999, there were eight farms with an agricultural area of 196 hectares, of which 136 hectares of arable land.
