Irshava

Irshava (Ukrainian Іршава; Иршава Russian, Hungarian Ilosva, Slovak Iršava ) is the name of a city in the Transcarpathian Oblast in western Ukraine. The Karpatenort is located southeast of the district capital of Uzhhorod on the eponymous river, a tributary of the Tisza, and is the administrative center of Rajons Irshava. For administrative area of the city and the village Sobatyn heard (Ukrainian Собатин, Hungarian Szombati ).

1341, the city is first mentioned in writing as Makszemháza, since 1982 it has the right city.
