Isabel (Leyte)

Isabel is a Philippine municipality in the province of Leyte on Leyte Island. It has 43 593 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ) living in 24 barangays. The community is described as partly urban and belongs to the first class of income communities in the Philippines. Your neighboring municipalities are Palompon in the north, in the east of Merida. In the West, the community is bordered by the Camotes Sea.

In the village there is a campus of the Visayas State University.
