Tolosa (Leyte)

Tolosa is a Philippine municipality in the province of Leyte on Leyte Island. It has 17,921 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ) living in 15 barangays. The community is described as partly urban and belongs to the fifth income class municipalities in the Philippines. Your neighboring municipalities are Tabontabon in the West, Tanauan and Dulag in the north to the south. Tolosa on the east by the Gulf of Leyte and can be reached from Tacloban City via the Maharlika Highway.

Northwest of the church is a vast marshland in the Leyte Sab -a Basin expands. In the village there is a campus of the Visayas State University.
