Iličević (2011)
Ivo Iličević [ iʋɔ ilitʃɛʋitɕ ] ( born November 14, 1986 in Aschaffenburg ) is a Croatian football player. Since 2011 he is at Hamburger SV under contract.

Clubs
Youth
He was taken with six from his brother to football and then played eight years at SV Viktoria Aschaffenburg in youth. He joined the A- youth from SV Darmstadt 98 2004
SV Darmstadt 98
During the winter break of the season 2004/ 05 he made the leap to the first team that played in the Regionalliga. Under coach Bruno Labbadia to Iličević quickly became a regular player and made his debut on 24 March 2005 ( 20th Round ) 3-0 home victory over SC Pfullendorf; Here he scored the 1-0 opener. In two seasons, he completed 44 games and scored eight goals.
VfL Bochum
For the season 2006/ 07 he moved to Bundesliga side VfL Bochum. He signed a four-year contract until June 2010. On August 12, 2006 ( 1st Round ) in the 1-2 defeat in the away match against 1 FSV Mainz 05 he made his debut for VfL as he prepares for 57 minutes Oliver Schröder came on. His first Bundesliga goal on 24 September 2006 ( 5th Round ) was also the 2-1 victory over Arminia Bielefeld.
Lending to Fürth and move to Kaiserslautern
During the winter break of 2007/ 08 he was initially loaned out to second division side Greuther Fürth, then for season 2009/ 10 at the 1st FC Kaiserslautern, which contractually bound to him in June 2010. Had he come yet propagated in the 2009/10 season as a substitute used to Iličević increased significantly in his second year. With the Palatines promotion to the Bundesliga, in which he scored 21 August 2010 (1st Round ) 3-1 win in Cologne the final results. During the first round he scored four more goals, contributed five assists and became one of the service providers within the team.
Hamburger SV
31 August 2011 undertook the Hamburger SV Iličević. He signed a four-year contract until 30 June 2015 and received the shirt number 11, since he had seen a red card in his last game for the 1.FC Kaiserslautern and injured immediately, his debut for Hamburger SV delayed. On October 16, 2011, he came in the game against SC Freiburg by Substitutes in the 66th minute on his debut for HSV and achieved directly the 2:1 winning goal in the 74th minute. In his first season he played due to various injuries, including a torn muscle, only 18 times and scored two goals.
In the 2012/13 season he suffered end of September 2012 a hamstring in the match against Hannover 96 (2:1), which is why it turned out almost seven weeks. After Iličević was three times without the bench, he made his comeback December 15, 2012 (17th Round ) in the match against Bayer 04 Leverkusen (0:3). In the second round he fell due to a stomach muscle from more than ten weeks. This season, he came only to eight panels and a gate.
National
His debut for the Croatian U-21 national team, he was on 30 May 2007 against a Croatian regional selection, against whom he scored three goals in twenty minutes. In his third international match on 6 June 2007 he scored in the 3-2 win against Greece two goals.
Due to his good performances in the U- 21 team Iličević was appointed on 29 September 2008 by Slaven Bilic in the cadre of senior national team for the qualifiers for the 2010 World Cup against Ukraine and Andorra; but did not play. On 26 September 2010 he was again nominated for the international matches of the Croats against Israel and Norway. On October 12, he made his national team debut against Norway. On 9 February 2011 he with his side's lead to 4-2 Final against the Czech Republic scored his first international goal. Due to a muscle injury Iličević could not participate in the 2012 European Football Championship.
Private
He has four siblings. His older brother Jakov is also football player and was with Ivo together at the 1 FC Viktoria Aschaffenburg in Aschaffenburg and Suedring active.
