Ivory Coast at the 1996 Summer Olympics

The Ivory Coast took at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta for the eighth time in the Olympic Summer Games in part. The team consisted of eleven athletes, ten men and one woman. They started in eight competitions in four sports. The youngest participant was Eric N'Dri Pacome at 18 years and 132, the oldest was the canoe racers Koutoua Abia with 30 years and 353 days. During the opening ceremony on 19 July 1996, the athlete Jean -Olivier Zirignon carried the flag of the Ivory Coast in the Olympic Stadium.
