Joch Pass and Wendenstöcke

The Joch is a central Swiss pass between the cantons of Bern, Nidwalden and Obwalden. He connects the villages Engstlenalp in Gental and Engelberg in Engelberg Valley, the pass is a 2,207 m above sea level. M., on the yoke between gray floor and Jochstock. About the only pass leading a mule track, which is used by hikers and mountain bikers. Both of Engstlenalp as well as from Truebsee lead chairlifts to the summit.
The Joch Pass is the highest point on the four-lake hike from Engelberg to Melchsee -Frutt. From the Joch Pass can be seen in fine weather the nearby Titlis, the highest mountain in the region, and in the opposite direction to the Bernese Alps. Other surrounding peaks are Rotsandnollen and the three thousand Tearing Nollen, Kleintitlis and Wendenstöcke.
