Jõesuu is a village (Estonian küla ) in the rural community Kõrgessaare ( Kõrgessaare vald ). It is the second largest Estonian island of Hiiumaa ( German Dagö ).

Description and History

Jõesuu has three inhabitants ( 31 December 2011). The place more than twelve kilometers from the village Emmaste.

Southwest of the village core flows into the river Vanajõgi after a glacial valley, the Vanajõe org, in the Baltic Sea. In late autumn spawn in the clear waters of the river, the sea trout. The area is a nature reserve since 1962.
