Josué Pesqueira

Josué Filipe Soares Pesqueira ( born September 17, 1990 in Ermesinde ), called Josué, is a Portuguese footballer.

Career

In the club

Josué joined as a teenager in the youth department of FC Porto. In 2009, he was inducted into the first team. However, his first professional games he played as Players out on loan for the Portuguese second division club SC Covilhã and FC Penafiel. For the 2010/11 season he joined as part of another lending agreement with the Dutch first division side VVV -Venlo, with whom he only just held the class at the end of the season. For the 2011/12 season Josué was taken by the Portuguese first division club FC Paços de Ferreira under contract. Here he succeeded in the 2012/13 season with 23 league inserts the breakthrough. The FC Paços de Ferreira finished the season in third place in the table, thus achieving the best finish in club history and the initial qualification for the UEFA Champions League. Josué itself was named best young player of the season. For the 2012/13 season Josué returned to FC Porto.

In the National Team

Josué went through the Portuguese national youth teams. On August 14, 2013, was part of a friendly match against the Netherlands under coach Paulo Bento for the first time in the squad of the national team. He then came on 11 October 2013 World Cup qualifier against Israel for his international debut.
