Kasel-Golzig
Kasel- Golzig ( Lower Kozłów - Gólsk ) is a municipality in the district of Dahme -Spreewald in Brandenburg. The municipality is part of the Office Unterspreewald.

Community structure
To the community include the community part Zauche and the districts Jetsch and sliding village.
History
Kasel was first documented in 1346. The name means either place where there are goats or is derived from the personal name Kosel.
Golzig was first mentioned in documents as Golcz 1396. The name means settlement on the forest.
Incorporations
On 1 October 1962, the city was incorporated Zauche. The communities Jetsch and sliding village joined in the framework of municipal reform December 31, 2002, the municipality Kasel- Golzig.

Culture and sights
In the list of monuments in Kasel- Golzig as well as in the list of ground monuments in Kasel- Golzig are registered in the list of monuments of the country Brandenburg cultural monuments.
Structures
The neo-classical palace complex was built in the second half of the 18th century by the landowners Carl Friedrich Leopold Graf zu Solms- Baruth Empire. Today, the complex is unused.
The Church is a late medieval Findlingsbau. The tower has a wooden shaft and a hood. Pulpit and altar of the church date from the 17th century.
