Kate Havnevik

Kate Havnevik ( born October 27, 1975 in Oslo) is a Norwegian indie rock singer-songwriter and composer. Stage performances and collaborations with other musicians Kate graduated from partially under the pseudonym Kate Kobro, the name of her great-grandmother.

Life

Kate Havneviks mother is Norwegian and her father is from England. Both are classically trained musician and play the flute, as well as Kate, along with other instruments, piano, guitar and melodica. Havnevik wanted to work early on as a classical and jazz musician. The age of 14 she had as a member of an existing female members of punk band performances in flash, an illegally occupied club and the center of the punk movement in Oslo.

1994 Havnevik decided to travel to England and studied music and composition in Liverpool before settling in London.

To improve their musical compositions Kate Havnevik sought contact with well-known producers, including Guy Sigsworth of Frou Frou, who had also worked with Imogen Heap, Madonna, Jem, Britney Spears and Björk. Collaboration with other artists
