Kawhi Leonard
Kawhi Leonard ( born June 29, 1991, Riverside ) is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for the San Antonio Spurs.
College
Leonard played two years for the San Diego State University. In his first season he scored 12.7 points and 9.9 rebounds fetched. With its university, he was eliminated by the University of Tennessee at the NCAA tournament in the first round. In his second season, Leonard statistics increased to 15.7 points and 10.4 rebounds, and they reached the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA Tournament. There one difference, however, against the eventual champion, the University of Connecticut.
NBA
When NBA Draft 2011 Leonard was drafted in 15th place of the Indiana Pacers, but changed shortly thereafter to the San Antonio Spurs. In return, joined, among others, George Hill to Indiana. After Manu Ginobili failed with a broken hand early in the season, Leonard was appointed to the starter. His Karrierebestwert with 24 points, he reached in the game against the Portland Trail Blazers. His rookie season ended Kawhi Leonard with an average of 8.9 points, 6.2 rebounds and 0.5 assists. In the election to the NBA Rookie of the Year Award Kawhi reached the 4th place behind Kenneth Faried, Ricky Rubio and Kyrie Irving to the winner.
On November 3, 2012 against Utah Jazz he succeeded with 5- of -5 from the field, 1- of -1 3PA and 2- of-2 from the free throw line a " perfect game". With a minimum of five litters from the field, 2 litters from the free throw line and a threesome he is after Danny Green, who was perfect on 23 April 2012 ( 6- of -6 FG, 2- of-2 FT ), the second player of the Spurs to have managed.
