Kenneth Myers

Kenneth Holston " Ken " Myers ( born August 26, 1896 in Norristown, † June 1974 ) was an American rowers. In addition to Paul Costello, John B. Kelly Sr. and Conn Findlay, he is the only U.S. rower, who won three Olympic medals.

Kenneth Myers won with silver his first Olympic medal together with his club mates Carl Klose, Franz spring Schmidt and Erich Federschmidt from the Pennsylvania Barge Club and the helmsman Sherman Clark at the Summer Olympics in Antwerp in 1920 in the coxed four behind the team from Switzerland. Eight years later, he took part in Amsterdam at the Summer Olympic Games in 1928. Here he took up in one and was again behind the Australians Henry Pearce silver medalist. In 1929, he won two titles in the one at the U.S. Championships. For the third time he took, now starting for the Bachelors Barge Club, at the Summer Olympics in 1932 in Los Angeles part. Together with William Gilmore, he took up in the double sculls and won the gold medal.
