Kojetice (Třebíč District)

Kojetice ( German Kojetitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located eight kilometers south-west of Třebíč and belongs to Okres Třebíč.

Geography

Kojetice is located in the southern part of the Bohemian- Moravian Highlands in the upper reaches of the river Rokytná. West of the village of the hills Sádek rises ( Schlossberg, 564 m) with its castle and in the northeast the Mikulovická hora ( 586 m).

Neighboring towns are Mastník in the north, and Mikulovice Výčapy in the east, Horni Újezd ​​the southeast, Újezdský Mlýn in the south, Loukovice the southwest, Cerveny Mlyn, Sádek and Čáslavice in the west and Vísky and Rokytnice Rokytná in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of the village was in 1349, when the Vladike Jakub Kojetice bought the services to be provided by the residents of Stepan Újezd ​​interest payments. 1373 Jimram resigned from Újezd ​​along with the hill Hradiště including Dötfer Loukovice, Horni Rokytánka and Dolni Rokytánka four hooves and Kojetice Filip of Jakubov from.
