Kostomlátky

Kostomlátky ( German Kostomlat small, older even small cost sheet ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located five kilometers west of Nymburk and belongs to fulltext your real estates.

Geography

Kostomlátky is located on the right bank of the Elbe opposite the mouth of the Výrovka. To the west lies an incurred by sand mining quarry. In the north, the ridge rises Zadnà čtvrť (195 m).

Neighboring towns are Čilec in the north, Kamenné Zboží in the northeast, and Drahelice Komárno in the east, in the southeast Písty, Sadská in the south, the west and Doubrava Kostomlaty nad Labem in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of Kostomlátky took place in 1495, when Vladislav II mortgaged the castle Mydlovar to the High Chancellor Johann von Schellenberg. In 1500, the residents received a privilege for free manage their assets awarded. After the rebellion of 1547 cities Ferdinand I confiscated the rule Kostomlat and sold them to the rule Lysa nad Labem. 1553 was the village of 18 properties.

Kostomlátky permanent belonging to repealing patrimonial to Lysa. Owners were, inter alia, Johann Špork and in 1679 his son Franz Anton Špork. He sold Kostomlat 1722 initially to Josef Czernin of Chudenitz, but they later acquired by over-indebted Czernin back. 1787 299 people lived in the village.

From 1850 formed Malé Kostomlaty with the district Doubrava a municipality in the district Poděbrady. 1920 Doubrava broke off and formed its own community. In 1933 a flow straightening of the river Elbe and the construction of the lock at Kostomlátky, while the meander were dropped at Písty and Doubrava. In 1936, the Výrovka that flowed so far into the Elbknie of Písty, a new bed and her mouth was downriver laid under the lock of Kostomlátky. The municipality consists of the villages Kostomlátky Doubrava ( Doubrawa, also Franziszidorf ) and Kostomlátky (small Kostomlat ).
