Kramolín (Třebíč District)

Kramolín ( German Kramolin ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located 35 kilometers west of the center of Brno and belongs to Okres Třebíč.

Geography

Kramolín is on the left of the Jihlava Dam Dalesice in Jaispitzer hills ( Jevisovicka pahorkatina ). Southwest of the village lies the pumped storage plant Dalesice below which begins the storage space of the dam Mohelenská. To the south lies the Dukovany nuclear power plant. Southeast of the Zeleny rises Kopec with the observation tower of Babylon.

Neighboring towns are Popůvky, Sedlecká and Sedlecký Dvůr in the north, Kladeruby nad oslavou in the northeast, Mohelenská the southeast, Slavětice in the south, Hrotovice the southwest, Dalesice in the west and Stropešín and Hartvíkovice in the northwest.

History

The first mention of Kramolín was in 1368.

After the replacement of patrimonial Kramolín in 1848 part of the municipality Kladoruby. 1921 was the related to Okres Třebíč community Kramolin. Between 1950 and 1960 the village was assigned to the Okres Velka Bites and came to the resolution back to Okres Třebíč. Gepfarrt the place is always after Mohelenská.

1970 was dammed between Kramolín and Slavětice the Jihlava. The projected for the Dukovany nuclear power plant service water dam was completed in the 1980s. In parallel, was also below the water needs of the nuclear power plant serving dam Mohelenská.
