Kronoberg County

Kronoberg County is a province ( län) in the historical Småland. Administrative seat of the province is Växjö.

Kronoberg County is named after the ruins at Växjö Kronoberg. The sparsely populated landscape is characterized by extensive pine forests, many lakes ( Bolmen, Åsnen Möckeln ( Älmhult ) ) and agricultural land (mainly grazing ).

The coat of arms shows a blue gold reinforced with red lion and red, silbergespitztem arrow black bow, aiming for the head of the shield and on a green three mountain standing.
