Lake Faak

The Faak (Slovenian: Basko Jezero ) is a privately owned lake in Carinthia ( Austria ). With an area of ​​220 ha (with a maximum depth of 29.5 m ), he is the fifth largest lake in Carinthia.

Location

The Faak is just south of Villach and the Drava River and north of the located in the Karawanken Mittagskogel. The Faak belongs politically to the communities Villach ( with the villages Drobollach and Egg am See in the north) and Finke stone ( with the village of Lake Faak in the southwest ).
