Lantapan, Bukidnon

Lantapan is a metropolitan area municipality in the province of Bukidnon on the island of Mindanao in the Philippines. It has 55 934 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ) living in 14 barangays. It belongs to the first class of income communities in the Philippines and is described as a partially urbanized.

The topography of the parish is described as mountainous with large canyon -like valleys in the north- west are large sections of the community in Mount Kitanglad Range Natural Park. In it is the second highest mountain in the Philippines, the 2,938 meter high Dulang - dulang.
