Maramag, Bukidnon
Maramag is a metropolitan area municipality in the province of Bukidnon on the island of Mindanao in the Philippines. It has 90 901 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ) living in 20 barangays. It belongs to the first class of income communities in the Philippines and is described as a partially urbanized.
Your neighboring municipalities are Valencia City in the north, Don Carlos in the south, Pangantucan in the west and Quezon to the east. The community is located about 55 km southeast of the provincial capital Malaybalay City and about 158 km south of the regional capital Cagayan de Oro and about 154 north-west of Davao City.
The topography of the municipality is dominated in the north west of the mountain range of Kalatungan Mountains and in the community is the active volcano Musuan, which last erupted in the second half of the 19th century. The southern part of the township is described as sanfthügelig.
As one of the main tourist attractions of the Mount applies Kalatungan Range Natural Park and the 646 -meter-high volcano Musuan. The Central Mindanao University is located in Maramag.
