Léon Delacroix

Léon Frédéric Gustave Delacroix ( * December 27 1867 in Saint-Josse-ten-Noode/Sint-Joost-ten-Node, † October 15, 1929 in Baden- Baden) was a Belgian lawyer and statesman.

After studying law, he worked as a lawyer. Following the First World War, he was from 1918 to 1920 Belgian Prime Minister and Finance Minister and Foreign Minister from time to time. After the first election in Belgium with equal voting rights for all citizens (1919) he formed his second government. The main task in his tenure was the reconstruction after the devastation of war.
