Let It Roll: Songs by George Harrison is the seventeenth album; or the third compilation album by George Harrison after the breakup of the Beatles. It was on June 12, 2009: published ( USA 16 June 2009). In the UK, the album number four in the U.S. and number 24 in Germany reached could it charted at number 91 on the charts.

Genesis

Since the last two compilation albums The Best of George Harrison and Best of Dark Horse 1976-1989 until the date of publication of Let It Roll were: Songs by George Harrison passed thirty-three or twenty years. In contrast to the first two compilation albums comprised Let It Roll: Songs by George Harrison the entire solo career of George Harrison. The songs were remastered under the direction of Giles Martin at Abbey Road Studios and the compilation of the titles carried by Olivia Harrison with the support of friends.

The compilation album contains three Beatles songs that come from the live album The Concert for Bangla Desh: While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Something and Here Comes the Sun. Not included are songs that George Harrison had recorded with the Traveling Wilburys. In compiling the title was omitted in the following top 20 hit single releases from the UK and the U.S.: Bangla Desh, Dark Horse, You and Crackerbox Palace. Instead albums title or less successful single titles were selected. The title I Do not Want to Do It was previously only available on the soundtrack album Porky 's Revenge and in the U.S. as a 7 " vinyl single (released on April 22, 1985) available.
