Lipprechterode
Lipprechterode is a municipality in the district of Nordhausen in Thuringia. Fulfilling community for Lipprechterode is the city Bleicherode.
Geography
The municipality is located on the northern slope of the bleaching Röder mountains. The Bode flows through the town.
History
The church was first mentioned on 16 April 1120.
On the small mountain spur in the northeast of the village used to be a sub-divided into pre-and main castle fortification. You probably had a protective function for the running in the Bode Valley military road. Remains bare witness no longer of this fortress, but the cemetery is the successor to this place.
1317 was the monastery Bursfelde here by the counts of Beichlingen a farm which has been assigned to Hanover's Monastery Fund economically later.

Clubs
The clubs include the SV Blau Weiss 90 Lipprechterode and Lipprechteröder Carnival Club. There is also the volunteer fire department Lipprechterode.
Structures
The Protestant branch church of St. John is an existing rubble stone simple hall church with extruded, just closed choir without a tower. Already in 1119 a Romanesque chapel was mentioned. Extensions to the current form were made in 1617 and 1718. During a renovation in 1980, the interior was completely redesigned.
