List of Education Ministers of France
The Minister of National Education ( Ministre de l'Education nationale) is a member of the French government, which is concerned with the development of the education system.
The Office of the Minister of Public Instruction ( Ministre de l' Instruction Publique ) was launched in France in 1828. It was usually combined the post of minister of public worship, which was to address issues that affected the Catholic Church ( unless the Minister of Public Instruction was a Protestant ).
1932, the official title was changed to Minister of National Education. It remains to this day, even if introduced 1940-1941 for a short time -honored name again and during the presidency of Valéry Giscard d' Estaing ( 1974-1981 ) of the title Minister of Education was needed.
