Liv Signe Navarsete

Liv Signe Navarsete ( born October 23, 1958 in Sogndal ) is a Norwegian politician. It is part of the Centre Party to (Sp) and is since 2008 the chairman. In the government Jens Stoltenberg II it was from 2005 to 2009, Minister of Transport, October 20, 2009 to October 16, 2013 Local and Regional Minister.

She comes from Sogndal, but now lives in Laerdal. 2005 and 2009 she was elected for Sogn og Fjordane in the Storting; However, their mandate, they did not realize until she was Minister.

Navarsete was leader of the Centre Party in Fylkesting of Sogn og Fjordane, sat in the legislature in 2001/ 05 as Nachrückerin in the Storting and worked as a member of the regional committee of the Norwegian government ( distriktskommisjon ).
