Kristin Halvorsen

Kristin Halvorsen ( born September 2, 1960 in Horten ) is a Norwegian politician of the Socialist Left Party ( SV). After the parliamentary election in 2013, she retired from active politics.


Halvorsen studied social pedagogy and criminology. She joined in 1982 the youth wing of the Socialists ( Sosialistisk Ungdom ) at and was its chairman from 1984 to 1986.
