History
Name
The name Luchsingen is Alemannic origin. This suggests a settlement around 800 to 1000 AD. As with all place names -ingen, ikon, strength, etc. It is also in Luchsingen originally around a courtyard. The prefix " Lynx " returns to the Alemanni Luzzo. Luchsingen derives its name from the Lynx off thus not directly, but by a person who was named after this animal (possibly because of strong properties).
