M'Sila Province

The M'Sila Province (Arabic ولاية المسيلة, DMG Wilāyat al - Masila ) is a province ( wilaya ) in northern Algeria.

The province is located in the transition region from the densely populated north of the country to the sparsely populated Sahara and covers an area of ​​17 891 km2.

Around 945,000 people ( 2006 estimate ) live in the province, the population density is thus about 53 inhabitants per square kilometer.

The provincial capital is M'Sila, another town with more than 100,000 inhabitants is Bou Saâda.
