Magherafelt District Council

Magherafelt (Irish machaire Fíolta ) is one of the 26 Districts in Northern Ireland. The District, whose territory lies in the traditional county of Londonderry, was established in 1973. Significant places in the Borough, the city in Magherafelt, which is also the administrative center, and Bellaghy and Castledawson.
