Mardihansu is a village (Estonian küla ) in the rural community Kõrgessaare ( Kõrgessaare vald ). It is the second largest Estonian island of Hiiumaa ( German Dagö ).

The village lies on the same Baltic Bay ( Mardihansu Laht, historical German name Hundswiek ) on the west coast of Hiiumaa. In the shallow bay with its numerous shoals and reefs, many ships are stranded in the history of Hiiumaa.
