Martin Bartek

Martin Bartek ( born July 17, 1980 in Bratislava, Czechoslovakia) is a Slovak ice hockey player who is since May 2013 in the White Tigers Liberec of the Czech Extraliga under contract.

Career

Bartek began his professional career with the HKm Zvolen, where he first played in the 1997/98 season in the Slovak Extraliga for the first team. By 1999, the winger was in Zvolen under contract and played in the Quebec Major meantime Junior Hockey League after he was selected by the Nashville Predators in the NHL Entry Draft in 1998 at 202 site in the eighth round. For an insert in the National Hockey League Bartek but never came.

In 1999, the shooter again links to North America, where he completed a successful season after another season in the QMJHL Moncton Wildcats at the, for the New Orleans Brass in the East Coast hockey League. In the season 2004/ 05 Bartek played for Rauman Lukko in the Finnish SM- liiga, anschleießnd he stood for the HC Slovan Bratislava on the ice. In the following season the Slovak initially earned Metallurg Novokuznetsk in the Russian Superleague his money before he has been a renewed guest performance at HKm Zvolen at the end of the season for 17 games.

In 2006, Bartek it first attracted to Germany, where he signed a contract with the Duisburg Foxes, before the end of the season he left the city but again and moved to the second-rate Swedish HockeyAllsvenskan to Leksand IF. In August 2006, the striker was first appointed to the circle of the Slovak national team.

For the season 2007/ 08 the Slovak signed a contract with the second division mosquitoes eating and became top scorer and player of the year in the 2nd Bundesliga. Following the insolvency of mosquitoes food Bartek signed in the summer of 2008 a two-year contract with the Kassel Huskies, for those in the German Ice Hockey League, he starts the 2008 /09 season on the ice. For the 2009/10 season Martin Bartek joined the Cologne Sharks, where he had signed a two -year contract. The contract was terminated in July 2010 and Bartek has been committed by the HC Pardubice. In 2012, he was with the club Czech champion. After his contract expires after the 2012/13 season Bartek moved within the Extraliga to the White Tigers Liberec, where he was awarded a three -year contract.
